Macario vase, from our new Cocucho collection.

The Cocucho technique is distinguished by hand-modeling without a potter's wheel, using local clay. The pieces are built in layers, with coils of clay that are smoothed out to form shapes. They are sun-dried and fired in open kilns fueled by wood, which results in earthy tones and unique variations in each object.
